Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders

A couple of weeks ago, I was able to work with two of my mentors at a private corporation's conference where the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders were there for photos and entertainment. Here's a pic with me and the girls! They look awesome! (Feeling some guy envy atm). ;)
Thanks to my colleagues and to the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders! :)

60 Years and Still Counting...

Nancy and John Alderman celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary about two weeks ago. We had the pleasure of being invited to record the family for family portraits. All that John and Nancy wanted were photos taken with their family. They had a small, private celebration for close friends and family that was captured solely for them and by them.

Thanks for such a wonderful hour with your family, John and Nancy. A shout out to daughter Diane and son-in-law Ron for introducing us all! Thanks to the Alderman's other two children and their three beautiful granddaughters. We had some good laughs! :)

John & Nancy, Congratulations! Here's to another 60 years!

Yukari & Ian

OK, so here are a couple of my favorite clients! (OK you're all my favorite clients, just don't tell the others). ;)

Anyways, Ian & Yukari recently got married in a small private ceremony with a reception that followed around a couple of months ago. (see first set of pics). Anyways, they've known each other since grade school in Hawaii. Well,...they went back to Hawaii about three weeks ago. These are some images we captured from their final shoot (for now) with us. (They were having a James Dean/Marilyn moment).

Thanks guys for all that you do and all that you are! Miss you! :)

July 3rd

These were just a few snapshots that were taken at the Ft. Worth Symphony's Concerts in the Garden Series in honor of our home, country, and the men and women who fight for our beliefs everyday. We went with our friends who drove up from south Texas for a mini get together(i.e. dinner and a firework show...o yeah, there was some conversing too!) Anyways, thought we'd share a bit with all of you...enjoy!

Had a wonderful time! Thank you to the Symphony and to our wonderful friends!

the BIG Move....

Well, for those of you who don't know, and that would be 99.99% of you...we recently moved. Just across town from the last location, but nonetheless a move...So, we are excited about a bit more room for doing what we love. (This is short and sweet...).

Come by and see us and the new place! We'd love to have you come visit! :)

'Becca Jane

This little cutie was born 6 weeks before her time. These were taken about the time of the predicted "due date". Well, she just couldn't wait to get her little self into this massive world(that everyday gets smaller). So, here she is....introducing Ms. 'Becca...and her family :).

What a joy to photograph this small wonder in her own little world! We had so much fun that the whole family decided to get in on the action.

Thanks for such a wonderful time with your family, Fincanons! Always so much fun! :)

Texas School

In the Beginning there was Darkness....and then there was Light and TX School!!! :)

WOW! What an experience! I had the best week in early May attending Texas School! (This is a place where all of the coolest photographers come together and learn, teach, bounce off ideas, ask questions, form friendships, and build their businesses doing what they love and learning from their heroes/mentors/colleagues). This was my first time attending, and I had so much fun and learned so much. I just hope I can do my mentors/teachers/and colleagues proud. Most of all, I want to show my clients why they should choose Light Artistry for all their photography needs.

I learned something else at Texas School, and it's the biggest: I need to be braver at being myself!

Thanks Mary and Jamie for everything!

SO...enough typing...here's some images for your enjoyment. Some are from class, (most everyone in class have these same shots..some from different angles, etc, but these were taken by us), one is of the class (everyone got a class picture made...Ours was the BEST!!! IMO :) This image is scanned from a final print that was given to everyone in the class), and some are from our Shoot Out on Thursday before our final farewells on Friday!
